Executive Chef Tyler Southwick
A Connecticut native, Chef Tyler Southwick graduated from Manchester High School in 2000. He began his career in the hospitality industry working as a party tent installer, and soon followed his passion for food by attending the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. His passion for the culinary arts earned him the prestige position as Sous Chef for Grants, Bricco in West Hartford, and Cafemantic in Willimantic, CT, where his accolades included designations of Best Brunch and Best Caterer by The Hartford Courant.
Chef Southwick brought his culinary experience to Three Figs in Suffield, where his extraordinary passion and creativity is represented in his Comfort Food and Innovative American Cuisine. He demonstrates an unwavering commitment to utilizing only the freshest and often locally-sourced ingredients, to include fresh wild fish and shellfish, farm fruits, vegetables and cheeses. He continues to advance his knowledge of food trends and cooking techniques to bring Three Figs patrons an extraordinary dining experience!
